Exemplaire sur un flan irrégulier parfaitement centré des deux côtés avec les grènetis complets. Beau portrait de Pupien. Revers de haut relief. Belle patine de collection ancienne avec des reflets dorés avec de petites concrétions en bordure de listel au revers

Pupien was proclaimed emperor together Balbin. After the death of Maximin, he returned to Rome. Some disagreement arose between the two co-emperors who eventually were both murdered by the Praetorian between late April and early May after the new timeline established by A. and M. Christol Chastagnol.
