Le métal est incertain

Obverse legend : PEINTURES FREITAG / 1906.

Obverse description : Tête de la République à gauche en Cérès, déesse des moissons, portant un collier de perles, un double chignon et une couronne composite de blé, fleurs, olivier et olives, chêne et glands, nouée par un ruban descendant sur le cou le tout au type d’Oudiné.

Reverse

Reverse legend : LIBERTÉ * ÉGALITÉ * FRATERNITÉ *.

Reverse description : 10 / CENTIMES, en deux lignes dans le champ, sans la lettre d'atelier encadrée des différents, dans une couronne ouverte nouée par un ruban à sa base, formée de deux branches de laurier.

Commentary

Ces peintures existent toujours et expliquent fièrement qu’elles ont été utilisées pour peindre le viaduc de Millau

On notera que le type monétaire utilisé en 1906 n’est pas celui en cours, de Daniel-Dupuis, mais le précédent, certainement pour éviter les confusions.
