Obverse description : Buste diadémé, drapé et cuirassé d'Anastase à droite, vu de trois quarts en avant ; diadème perlé.

Obverse translation : “Dominus Noster Anastasius Perpetuus Augustus”, (Notre seigneur Anastase perpétuel auguste).

Reverse

Reverse legend : VOPOIV-VVR-VM.

Reverse description : Victoire marchant à droite, tenant une couronne de la main droite et un globe crucigère de la main gauche.

Reverse translation : “Victoria Augustorum”, (La Victoire des augustes).

Commentary

Ce tremissis fourré (faux d’époque) semble copier un exemplaire d’Anastase frappé à Constantinople entre 491 et 518. Toutefois le nom d’Anastase n’est pas visible.
