(1382-1384)

Louis I (1339-1384) succeeded Joan of Naples (1326-1382) in 1382, who had designated him as heir. He is the son of King Jean le Bon of France and Bonne of Luxembourg, and was regent of the kingdom during the minority of his nephew Charles VI. He only reigned over Provence for two years before dying in 1384..
