Exemplaire sur un flan fin et irrégulier. Usure importante, mais parfaitement lisible et identifiable. Patine noire, légèrement granuleuse

Obverse description : Buste diadémé, drapé et cuirassé de Procope à gauche vu de trois quarts en avant (A'1a) ; diadème perlé.
Obverse translation : “Dominus Noster Procopius Pius Felix Augustus”, (Notre seigneur Procope pieux heureux auguste).

Reverse legend : REPARATI-O FEL TEMP/ -|-// CONSZ..
Reverse description : Procope, vêtu militairement debout de face tourné à gauche tournant la tête à droite, tenant l’étendard de la main droite et s'appuyant sur un bouclier de la main gauche ; dans le champ en haut à droite, un chrisme.
Reverse translation : “Reparatio Felicitas Temporum”, (Le retour des Temps heureux).

Commentary


Poids excessivement léger. Rubans de type 3 aux extrémités bouletées. Ptéryges invisibles sous le paludamentum. Objet dans le champ à gauche du revers, chrisme dans le champ à droite. Étendard plein ? Semble complètement inédit et non recensé pour cette officine. Pour cet atelier et cette émission, seules les cinq premières officines étaient recensées.
