Exemplaire de qualité exceptionnelle pour ce type monétaire sur un petit flan bien centré avec les grènetis visibles. Beau buste de Junon Sospita. Revers de toute beauté finement détaillé. Jolie patine grise avec des reflets dorés. Conserve la plus grande partie de son brillant de frappe et de son coupant d’origine

Reverse translation : “Lucius Procilius Filius”, (Lucius Procilius Filius).

Lucius Procilius seems to be the historian, a contemporary of Cicero. He could be identified with the tribune of the plebs of 56 BC, accused by Clodius two years later of violence and condemned.
