Exemplaire sur un flan large et complet des deux côtés avec les grènetis visibles. Portrait de toute beauté. Frappe un peu molle au revers. Patine gris métallique avec des reflets marron glacé. Conserve une partie de son brillant de frappe et de son coupant d’origine

Reverse description : Rome assise dans un temple hexastyle (six colonnes) à fronton triangulaire posé sur trois marches, tenant une victoriola et un sceptre.

Reverse translation : “Romæ Æternæ”, (À la Rome éternelle).

Commentary

Poids lourd. Avec l’intégralité de son argenture superficielle. Rubans de type 3 aux extrémités bouletées. Manteau consulaire richement décoré avec la toga picta et la toga palmata orné d’un motif décoratif et d’une couronne sur la poitrine.
