Commentary
Cette médaille a été décernée à Pierre Clavier (1748-1812), homme de loi à Nantes. Il fut élu député de la Loire-Inférieure au Conseil des Anciens le 26 germinal an VI, puis au Corps législatif (du 25 décembre 1799 au 1er juillet 1805). Il sera nommé successivement commissaire du gouvernement, directeur des droits réunis à Angers et procureur général impérial à la cour d'Angers.
This medal was awarded to Pierre Clavier (1748-1812), a lawyer in Nantes. He was elected deputy for Loire-Inférieure to the Council of Elders on 26 Germinal, Year VI, and then to the Legislative Body (from 25 December 1799 to 1 July 1805). He was successively appointed government commissioner, director of united rights in Angers and imperial attorney general at the court of Angers.
