Commentary
Cette médaille a été décernée à Charles Périgois (1746-1814), député pour l’Indre du 17 août 1804 au 1er juillet 1814. Avocat, il a été officier à l'élection de La Châtre et régisseur du grenier à sel. Administrateur du département en 1790, il a été procureur général syndic en 1791 puis président du tribunal civil de La Châtre.

A lawyer, he was an officer in the election of La Châtre and manager of the salt granary. Administrator of the department in 1790, he was attorney general syndic in 1791 then president of the civil court of La Châtre
