Reverse description : Jupiter marchant à gauche, la tête à droite, brandissant un foudre de la main droite et tenant une haste transversale sur son épaule gauche.

Poids lourd. A conservé son argenture superficielle. Type rare avec les lettres C et A accostant Jupiter.

Postume seizes the purple by eliminating Salonin, son of Gallien, of whom he had custody. He reigns over Gaul, Brittany and Spain. Did Postume toy with the idea of conquering the Roman Empire? Gallien, twice, will try to reconquer the "pars occidentalis" of the Empire, without success. Postume will remain in power for nine years, before perishing assassinated for having refused the sack of Mainz, a city which supported Lélien.
