Avec son argenture. Rubans de type 3. Ptéryges invisibles sous le paludamentum. Ce type est en fait plus rare que ne le laissent supposer les ouvrages généraux.
With its silver plating. Type 3 ribbons. Pteryges invisible under the paludamentum. This type is actually rarer than general works suggest.

Historical background

POSTUMUS

(06-07/260-06/269)

Postume seizes the purple by eliminating Salonin, son of Gallien, of whom he had custody. He reigns over Gaul, Brittany and Spain. Did Postume toy with the idea of conquering the Roman Empire? Gallien, twice, will try to reconquer the "pars occidentalis" of the Empire, without success. Postume will remain in power for nine years, before perishing assassinated for having refused the sack of Mainz, a city which supported Lélien.
