Commentary

Notre exemplaire ne pouvait servir comme faux et circuler aux même titre que des imitations. Son poids et sa couleur n’auraient pas pu tromper à l’époque. Il s’agit donc bien d’une épreuve.
Our example could not have been used as a fake and circulated in the same way as imitations. Its weight and color could not have been misleading at the time. It is therefore indeed a proof.
