Exemplaire sur un petit flan, bien centré des deux côtés avec les grènetis visibles. Très beau portrait. Joli revers de haut relief. Patine de collection ancienne avec des reflets dorés. Conserve la plus grande partie de son brillant de frappe et de son coupant d’origine

Postume seizes the purple by eliminating Salonin, son of Gallien, of whom he had custody. He reigns over Gaul, Brittany and Spain. Did Postume toy with the idea of conquering the Roman Empire? Gallien, twice, will try to reconquer the "pars occidentalis" of the Empire, without success. Postume will remain in power for nine years, before perishing assassinated for having refused the sack of Mainz, a city which supported Lélien.
