Exemplaire sur un flan large et irrégulier avec les grènetis visibles, décentré au revers. Portrait magnifique. Revers de style très fin, bien venu excepté sur la légende. Belle patine grise avec des reflets dorés

Postume seizes the purple by eliminating Salonin, son of Gallien, of whom he had custody. He reigns over Gaul, Brittany and Spain. Did Postume toy with the idea of conquering the Roman Empire? Gallien, twice, will try to reconquer the "pars occidentalis" of the Empire, without success. Postume will remain in power for nine years, before perishing assassinated for having refused the sack of Mainz, a city which supported Lélien.
