En 2013 trois séries annuelles ont été émises par la Monnaie portugaise, un livret Brillant Universel, une plaquette FDC et une série Naissance. Le thème des séries 2013 est la légende du coq de Barcelos.
On retrouve sur cette série le symbole du programme des émissions communes à plusieurs états-membres “EUROPA”. Le thème retenu en 2013 est celui des “Écrivains européens”.

In 2013, three annual series were issued by the Portuguese Mint: a Brilliant Uncirculated booklet, a FDC plaquette, and a Birth series. The theme of the 2013 series is the legend of the Barcelos rooster.
