Commentary

Francisco de Jasso y Azpilicueta (1506-1552) est un prêtre missionnaire jésuite parti évangéliser Goa et les possessions portugaises d’Asie. Il se rend à Malaccan dans les Moluques, au Japon et en Chine. Malade, il meurt dans l’ile de Sancian.
François de Xavier est canonisé le 12 mars 1622,.
Francisco de Jasso y Azpilicueta (1506-1552) was a Jesuit missionary priest who went to evangelize Goa and the Portuguese possessions in Asia. He traveled to Malaccan in the Moluccas, Japan, and China. He died ill on the island of Sancian. Francis Xavier was canonized on March 12, 1622.
