Dimensions : 42*26 mm

Dimensions: 42 x 26 mm. This rectangular coin holder opens to hold a 20-franc gold coin (22.5 mm diameter). The coin slot is guilloché, forming a subtle rosette pattern. The gilded interior of the lid is hallmarked with a lion passant, a Z, an anchor (which, according to Birmingham hallmarks, may correspond to the year 1949), and a maker's mark \\\"CU\\\". The Z and the lion passant are also found around the edge of the coin slot.
