L’intérieur du couvercle est lisse et présente l’inscription suivante : TRADE / poinçons (soleil + croissant de lune + étoile à 6 branches) / MARK / A. L. D. / 9CT FILLED / 113, l’emplacement pour la pièce est guilloché formant un motif de rosace à partir d’un globule central. Sur la tranche de l’emplacement pour la monnaie, on peut lire : GOLD FILLED 9 CARAT TO WEAR 20 YEARS.
