Le décor doré compte quelques manques. Le revers est oxydé. On note une faiblesse dans la charnière qui joint les deux coques

Obverse description : Dans un décor doré sur fond marron, des entrelacs floraux un phoenix se place au centre. La forme de poire est souligné par deux bande cerclant la composition .

Cet exemplaire, de forme de poire s’ouvre et permet de placer un Louis d’or (diamètre : 22,5 mm) et une pièce de 10 francs or (20 mm). Le modèle est fait de métal ferreux incrusté de cuivre doré

Les emplacements pour les pièces sont cuivrés, guillochés, créant un motif discret de rosace.

On note entre les emplacements la mention PATENT ANGIN.

From the Middle Ages until the middle of the 19th century, deniers, écus, and then the first francs and centimes, were carried in purses, alms pouches, or small leather change purses, often attached to the belt.
