Commentary

Depuis 2005, la Banque Nationale de Pologne fait frapper à l’atelier de Varsovie des monnaies commémoratives de 2 Zlote sur le thème des villes historiques de Pologne.
Sur chaque monnaie, l’avers est illustré par un aigle surmontant un rempart avec une porte ouverte. Le revers est illustré par un monument de chaque ville concernée.
Kalisz est une ville de la Grande-Pologne.
Since 2005, the National Bank of Poland has been minting commemorative 2 zlote coins at the Warsaw mint, themed around Poland's historic cities. The obverse of each coin features an eagle surmounting a rampart with an open gate. The reverse features a monument from each city. Kalisz is a city in Greater Poland.
