L’entreprise Sautter-Harlé est spécialisée dans la construction électrique et les moteurs (fondée en 1852 et disparue en 1963). Les Anciens établissements Sautter-Harlé ont développé et fourni les motorisations électriques de certaines tourelles d'artillerie dans la fortification Maginot.
