Exemplaire sur un petit flan ovale bien centré des deux côtés avec les grènetis visibles. Très beau portrait de Plautille. Joli revers de style fin avec une petite faiblesse de frappe sur les les portraits. Jolie patine grise de collection ancienne avec des reflets dorés

Portrait particulier et expressif au chignon élaboré.
Historical background
PLAUTILLA and CARACALLA
Caracalla married the daughter of Plautian, prefect of the Praetorium, in 202 at the request of her father. Caracalla doesn't get along with his wife. The Happy Concorde of the legend of the reverse of the deniers struck on the occasion of the wedding is a sweet understatement that does not even last.
