Pièce commémorative circulante frappée à l’occasion des célébrations des 60 ans de la fin de la Seconde Guerre Mondiale. À l’avers figure un portrait de la reine Beatrix et au revers la valeur faciale 5 et le mot “VREDE” qui signifie paix.
On retrouve sur cette pièce le symbole du programme des émissions communes à plusieurs états-membres “EUROPA”. Pour 2005 le thème retenu par le Programme des émissions communes est la Paix en Europe, 60 ans après la fin de la Seconde Guerre Mondiale en 1945..
