Exemplaire sur un flan large et épais, fortement décentré au revers. Très beau portrait avec une cassure de coin. Joli revers de style fin. Patine gris foncé de collection ancienne

Gotarzes II is the second son of Artaban II (10-40) and the brother of Vardanes I (40-45) whom he succeeded after having assassinated him. His reign lasted another six years and he died a beautiful death, which is unusual for Parthian kings..
