Commentary

Frappé sous Etienne de Neuilly, prévôt de 1582 à 1585. Feuardent ne signale rien de particulier pour ce jeton mais considère que son 3386 est d’une fabrique allemande, bien que le jeton ne soit pas signé et, au style, a très probablement raison. En revanche, cet exemplaire, classé par Feuardent comme variante sur la question des points des légendes, est indiscutablement français.
