(III - II century BC)

Sinope, a colony of Miletus, was founded in the seventh century BC Located on the northern coast of the Euxine, maritime city, it was one of the most important ports in the region. The introduction of the new type with the head of the nymph Sinope is the installation of a democratic regime in Sinope in 453 BC by the Athenians. Satrap Datamès seized Sinope to 375 BC.
