Coments on the condition:
Exemplaire sur un flan très large et ovale, parfaitement centré des deux côtés. Très beau portrait d’Héraklès. Frappe un peu molle au revers sur la tête de Zeus avec une usure superficielle. Patine de collection ancienne avec des reflets mordorés et bleutés irisés

PAMPHYLIA - ASPENDOS

(3rd - 2nd century BC)

Aspendos, located twelve kilometers from the summit of Eurymedon, was a great economic place and had a large port on the coast. Aspendos remained loyal to the Persians until the arrival of Alexander the Great and resisted him before being taken in 333 BC. Aspendos belonged to the kingdom of Pergamum between 189 and 133 BC.
