Monnaie idéalement centrée des deux côtés. Superbe portrait d’Othon, bien venu à la frappe. Joli revers à l’usure régulière. Patine grise avec des reflets dorés

(15/01-17/04-69) Marcus Salvius Otho

Otto, born in 32, was a friend of Nero and Poppea's husband. Governor of Lusitania, he argues Galba. 2 January 69 it adopts Lucius Calpurnius Piso instead of choosing Otto hoped that this adoption to achieve Empire. January 15, Galba and Piso are murdered, Otho was proclaimed emperor. Vitellius was also proclaimed by the armies of Germany in January. The final battle takes place at Brédiac, Italy, April 17. Otto defeated, commits suicide.
