Flan un peu court, avec un avers confus, mais un très beau revers de frappe vigoureuse

Obverse description : Tête à gauche, la chevelure en deux grosses mèches de part et d’autre d’un bâton en cimier ; cordons perlés enroulés autour .

Reverse legend : ANÉPIGRAPHE.
Reverse description : Cheval androcéphale à gauche ; entre les jambes du cheval, un petit personnage couché (?).

Cet exemplaire est proche du bga_241667 de CELTIC II avec un revers moins net.
Cette monnaie semble très rare avec le cheval à gauche !
Le style de tête est typiquement osisme, mais le revers ne correspond pas aux types connus pour ce peuple. Pris individuellement, le revers se rapprocherait plutôt des quarts d'électrum des Diablintes (?). Ce quart pourrait aussi être proposé aux Vénètes.
This example is close to the bga_241667 of CELTIC II with a less clear reverse. This coin seems very rare with the horse on the left! The head style is typically Osism, but the reverse does not correspond to the types known for this people. Taken individually, the reverse would be closer to the electrum quarters of the Diablintes (?). This quarter could also be offered to the Veneti

GALLIA - ARMORICA - OSISMII (Area of Carhaix - Finistère)
(2nd - 1st centuries BC)
The Osismes were an Armorican people, settled in the current department of Finistère, at the northwestern end of Gaul and the Armorican coasts. They had as chief town Vorgium, today Carhaix. Their neighbors were the Veneti and the Coriosolites. Their name would mean "the furthest away" or "the people at the end of the world". They were subjugated by Caesar's army in 57 along with the other Armorican peoples. But from 56, they joined the coalition led by the Venetians. They will participate in the contingent of twenty-five thousand men provided in 52 BC to the army of the Gallic coalition by the Armorican peoples. Caesar (BG. II, 34, III, 9, VII, 75, 1).
