Philippe de Courcillon de Dangeau était marquis. Chevalier des ordres de Saint-Michel et du Saint-Esprit, il est aussi grand maître de l’Ordre de Notre Dame du Mont-Carmel et de Saint-Lazare. Ses armes sont écartelées aux 1 et 4 de Saint-Lazare aux 2 et 3 d’argent à une bande fuselée de gueules, accompagnée en chef d’un lion de sable.
