Cet écu est frappé sur un flan large et irrégulier. Exemplaire présentant des stries d’ajustage au revers et recouvert d’une jolie patine grise de médaillier. Les carrés de droit et de revers présentent de petites aspérités à gauche des motifs centraux

ORANGE - ORANGE PRINCIPALITY - GUILLAUME II OF NASSAU

(1647-1650)

Wilhelm II (1626-1650), son of Frederick Henry, married Mary (1631-1660), daughter of Charles I of England in 1641. William II succeeded his father as Stadtholder of the Netherlands, Prince of Orange in 1647. He died in 1650. His posthumous son, born in 1650, is the Prince of Orange at birth.
