Portrait légèrement stylisé sur un flan ovale et décentré. Style fin au revers. Patine marron foncé superficielle, légèrement granuleuse

Poids léger. Le poids est relativement lourd par rapport à ceux normalement relevés, autour de 4 grammes. M. Crawford signale dix-sept exemplaires pour deux variétés.

NUMITORIA
(133 BC)
The year 631 (AUC) of Rome corresponding to 133 BC is significant. Attalus III, king of Pergamon, on dying made the Romans his universal legatees. It is also the end of the servile insurrection in Sicily while Scipio Emilian takes Numance ending the Spanish war. Tiberius Gracchus, tribune of the plebs tries to have the "lex agraria" passed by opposing part of the Senate and the patricians. He is eventually murdered. The two consuls are Publius Mucius Scaevola and Lucius Calpurnius Piso Frugi.
