Exemplaire sur un flan bien centré des deux côtés. Beau portrait de haut relief, bien venu à la frappe. Joli revers. Patine marron foncé avec des reflets métalliques, légèrement granuleuse

Obverse description : Buste radié et cuirassé de Numérien auguste à droite, avec pan de paludamentum, vu de trois quarts en avant (B01).

Obverse translation : “Imperator Cæsar Numerianus Augustus”, (L’empereur césar Numérien auguste).

Reverse description : Felicitas (la Félicité) drapée, debout à gauche, les jambes croisées, tenant un caducée de la main droite, le coude gauche appuyé sur une colonne.

Reverse translation : “Felicitas Augustorum” (La Félicité des augustes).

Commentary

Poids léger. Avec une partie de son argenture superficielle. Rubans de type 3 aux extrémités bouletées. Cuirasse et épaulière cloutées. Ptéryges fines et tombantes. Malgré le nombre d’exemplaires recensés, c’est la première fois que nous présentons ce type.
Lightweight. With some surface silvering. Type 3 ribbons with rounded ends. Studded breastplate and shoulder guard. Thin, drooping pteryges. Despite the number of specimens recorded, this is the first time we have presented this type.
