Commentary

This example is varied because the cross on the reverse rests on a circle and not under a sort of triangle with a rounded base. The name of Robert, as count, would mark a weakening of the ducal power (Dumas, RN 1979, pl. XIX, n° 17). According to Dominique Legros, it would be a coin of Robert de Courteheuse (1087-1106)
