Notre drachme correspond exactement au dessin du BN 4127 qui en est donné par Dardel dans le LA TOUR. Il semble regrettable que ce type ait été presque systématiquement considéré comme “assimilé” à la légende CVBIOS. Muret et Chabouillet y lisaient OEO.

The territory of Nitiobroges corresponds to the current territory of the department of Lot et Garonne (47). Several discoveries of treasures have taken place in this department: in Boé, Aiguillon, Montastruc and Moncrabeau. These "drachmas" by their typology and their metrology resemble more the coinage of western Gaul than the Aquitaine coinage. The weight is closer to the denarius system than to the drachma system. The typology is close to Santones or Lemovices.
