Flan court et frappe décentrée des deux côtés, avec un profil complet mais granuleux. Patine grise un peu terne

Obverse description : Tête casquée à gauche, l'œil, le nez et les lèvres pointées ; la base du casque est perlée.
Reverse
Reverse description : Cheval sanglé à gauche, la légende au-dessus de la croupe et un torque entre les jambes.

Commentary
La légende est hors flan au revers. Sur les 18 exemplaires répertoriés, un provient d’Agen et onze du Mas-d’Agenais.

The territory of Nitiobroges corresponds to the current territory of the department of Lot et Garonne (47). Several discoveries of treasures have taken place in this department: in Boé, Aiguillon, Montastruc and Moncrabeau. These "drachmas" by their typology and their metrology resemble more the coinage of western Gaul than the Aquitaine coinage. The weight is closer to the denarius system than to the drachma system. The typology is close to Santones or Lemovices.
