Denier avec un droit identifiable, mais un peu confus. Revers avec un beau canton, sur un flan court. Patine grise et très hétérogène

Commentary

Cette monnaie est excessivement rare ; ce type de tête casquée est normalement associée à un cheval avec deux types de légende ; EFE ou CVBIO. Ce monnayage n’avait d’ailleurs pas été retenu par G. Savès dans son ouvrage. Avec ce troisième type, anépigraphe, mais associant une tête casquée et un revers à la croix, ce monnayage dans son intégralité est à rapprocher du monnayage à la croix !.
This coin is extremely rare; this type of helmeted head is normally associated with a horse with two types of legend; EFE or CVBIO. This coinage was not retained by G. Savès in his work. With this third type, anepigraphic, but associating a helmeted head and a reverse with a cross, this coinage in its entirety is to be compared to the coinage with the cross!
