Commentary
Léonard Joubert du Collet est avocat à Paris puis commerçant à Nantes. Il devient consul puis juge et commandant d’une compagnie de canonniers garde-côtes. Il est ensuite échevin puis sous-maire et enfin, il est nommé maire et colonel de la milice bourgeoise le 7 juin 1762. Ses armes portent d’argent au chevron d’azur chargé de cinq casques d’or, accompagné, en chef d’un vol séparé de gueules, et en pointe d’un rocher de sable.
