Obverse description : Tête à droite, entourée de cordons perlés terminés par de petites têtes coupées ; la chevelure stylisée avec une croix sur le front.

Reverse description : Cheval androcéphale galopant à droite conduit par un aurige étendant la main droite (?) ; entre les jambes du cheval, hippophore.

Commentary

Avec la croix sur le front au droit, ce statère est attribuable à la classe II, var. 1 de ce monnayage. La tête est d'un style fin et relativement classique par rapport aux monnaies qui succéderont, d'un style plus lourd.
