Dijon est une commune française située entre le bassin parisien et le bassin rhodanien, à 310 kilomètres au sud-est de Paris et 190 kilomètres au nord de Lyon. C'est la préfecture du département de la Côte-d'Or et le chef-lieu de la région Bourgogne-Franche-Comté. Elle est également l'ancienne capitale des ducs de Bourgogne.

Félix Rasumny, né le 20 avril 1869 à Sébastopol, et mort à Paris en 1940, est un sculpteur, médailleur et bijoutier russe naturalisé français.
Représentant de l'Art nouveau, il est l'élève d'Aimé Millet, Camille Gauthier et Paulin Tasset. Sociétaire des artistes français depuis 1907, il figure au Salon de ce groupement depuis 1889. Il devient membre de la Société nationale des beaux-arts en 1911. Félix Rasumny obtient une mention honorable en 1891, et une médaille d'argent à l'Exposition universelle de 1911. Il est nommé chevalier de la Légion d'honneur en 1933..

Félix Rasumny, born on April 20, 1869 in Sevastopol, and died in Paris in 1940, was a Russian sculptor, medalist, and jeweler who became a French citizen. A representative of Art Nouveau, he was a student of Aimé Millet, Camille Gauthier, and Paulin Tasset. A member of the French Artists Association since 1907, he has been exhibiting at the Salon of this group since 1889. He became a member of the National Society of Fine Arts in 1911. Félix Rasumny received an honorable mention in 1891 and a silver medal at the 1911 Universal Exhibition. He was named a Knight of the Legion of Honor in 1933.
