Reverse description : Aigle impériale bicéphale couronnée portant en cœur un globe crucigère contenant la marque de valeur 60. Le millésime 1573 de part et d’autre des cous de l’aigle.

Commentary

Ces thalers ont été frappés dans l’atelier de Saint-Amarin, ouvert en 1544 et qui frappa monnaies jusque vers 1581. C’est la première et seule fois que le millésime apparaît autour des cous de l’aigle bicéphale.
These thalers were minted in the Saint-Amarin workshop, which opened in 1544 and minted coins until around 1581. This is the first and only time that the year appears around the neck of the double-headed eagle.
