Boîte de production allemande avec mention sur une étiquette lacunaire : “Wa[...] nd Gewicht macht von ihro Churfürftl. Durchl. [...] Pfaltz gnädigft [...]leg. examinirt. und gefchworne. Icht - Macher JOHANN PETER AECKERSBERG, auf Wichling- haufen im Ober-Barmen. 1774”. Exemplaire présentant à l’intérieur quelques inscriptions à l’encre rouge, celles-ci indiquent l’emplacement des poids. Les poids sont d’origine avec 1 ducat, 1 guinée, 1 louis d’or (LsDOR) à 8,17 g, 2 louis d’or (13,56g), 1 louis d’or (6,79 g), 1/2 louis d’or (3,41 g). Sous le petit couvercle, vous retrouverez une fine tranche carrée gravée 1 GRAMS. La boîte en bois est recouverte d’un fin cuir bleu ouvragé de motifs floraux, autrefois dorés, sur le dessus et les côtés.
