Historical background


MONACO - HONORE V

(1819-1841)

Honoré V (1778-1841), son and successor of Honoré IV, returned to Monaco in 1814. He was made a peer of France by Louis XVIII. In fact, the principality finds itself under the obligatory protectorate of the Kingdom of Sardinia. Florestan succeeded him in 1841.
