Très rare jeton dont seulement 500 exemplaires furent fabriqués en 1891 à la Monnaie de Paris.
Après 1858, l'ouverture de la ligne de chemin de fer Béziers-Graissessac entraîne un développement important du bassin minier local. En 1946, les mines de Graissessac sont nationalisées et entrent dans le groupe des houillères du bassin des Cévennes.
Very rare token, of which only 500 were produced in 1891 at the Paris Mint. After 1858, the opening of the Béziers-Graissessac railway line led to significant development of the local mining area. In 1946, the Graissessac mines were nationalized and became part of the Cévennes Basin coal group.
