MEXICO - I MAXIMILIEN

(1864-1867)

Born in Vienna in 1832, Maximilian was the brother of Emperor Franz Joseph, Archduke of Austria. Napoleon III who wishes to bring Austria Maximilian was offered the imperial crown of Mexico (July 10, 1863).
