Commentary

Vicente Guerrero (1782-1831) est un militaire et homme d’état mexicain. Après l’indépendance, il organise un coup d’état et devient deuxième président fédéral le 1er avril 1829. Il est lui-même déposé le 4 décembre suivant. Désireux de revenir au pouvoir, il est capturé en 1831 et exécuté.
Vicente Guerrero (1782-1831) was a Mexican military man and statesman. After independence, he staged a coup d'état and became the second federal president on April 1, 1829. He was himself deposed on December 4. Eager to return to power, he was captured in 1831 and executed.
