Ce jeton existe avec un revers consacré La Martinière, Premier Chirugien du Roi qui pendant sa longue carrière avait contribué à la création de nombreuses écoles de chirurgie en province, notamment à Bordeaux, Toulouse, Lyon, Orléans, Nantes et Rouen. Ce jeton commémore la création de l’école de chirurgie de Bordeaux.
Le graveur de ce jeton, André Lavau, signale fièrement sur le jeton qu’il travaille .
This token exists with a reverse dedicated to La Martinière, First Surgeon to the King who during his long career had contributed to the creation of numerous schools of surgery in the provinces, notably in Bordeaux, Toulouse, Lyon, Orléans, Nantes and Rouen. This token commemorates the creation of the Bordeaux School of Surgery. The engraver of this token, André Lavau, proudly indicates on the token that he works
