L'ossuaire de Douaumont est un monument à la mémoire des soldats français et allemands morts en 1916 lors de la bataille de Verdun. Il est situé sur le territoire de la commune de Douaumont-Vaux, à quelques kilomètres de Verdun, dans le département de la Meuse en région Grand Est.(c.f.Wikipédia).
The Douaumont Ossuary is a monument to the memory of the French and German soldiers who died in 1916 during the Battle of Verdun. It is located in the commune of Douaumont-Vaux, a few kilometers from Verdun, in the Meuse department in the Grand Est region. (see Wikipedia)
