Commentary


Delphine de Sabran (1283/84-1360) est la fille de Guillaume de Signes et de Delphine de Barras. Très tôt orpheline, elle fut confiée à sa tante, Sybille de Puget, qui lui transmis son aversion pour le mariage et la maternité. Une fois mariée à Elzéar de Sabran, elle réussit à lui imposer un mariage virginal. Une fois veuve, elle prononça ses voeux de pauvreté et vécu mendiante et recluse. (cf. Wikipédia).
Delphine de Sabran (1283/84-1360) was the daughter of Guillaume de Signes and Delphine de Barras.
