Exemplaire de qualité exceptionnelle sur un flan idéalement centré des deux côtés. Très beau revers finement détaillé. Joli buste de Maxime. La monnaie a conservé son brillant de frappe et son coupant d’origine. Patine grise

Caesar
Maxime is the son of Maximin and Pauline. In 236 he received the title of Caesar and that of Prince of Youth. After the victory of Maximin I Thrace over the Germans, he is associated with his father who receives the title of Germanicus. Maximus was assassinated with his father, near Aquileia, around April 15, 238.
